GMD Engineers are trained to fully master the development aspects of design and research within the Mechanics sector. Development defines and creates or optimizes products and machine elements, it intervenes upstream in the production line of manufactured products, from their initial concept, providing improvements, through to the end of the system life.

GMD Engineers are characterized by their ability to:

• analyse and manage a problem or a project with a complete understanding of the technical and management aspects involved.

• identify or adapt the knowledge and skills necessary for modelling the problems and finding solutions.

• design and qualify experimental or computerised tools that resolve the problems and meet the objectives previously set.
